TO TRAILHEAD: TO BOAT LAUNCH: US 93 S to MA 3 S to MA 228 N. Go 7 mi.; L onto MA 3A. Exit @ Rockland St.; go 7 mi. Bear L onto George Washington Rd., then L @ light after seafood restaurant onto McDuff's Landing. Park in dirt lot by Jake's Wharf Marina.

Pass Bumpkin Island ferry dock; from NW side of island, head NW across high-traffic Hingham Bay toward Peddocks Island, marked by two drumlins and connected by a low strip of land framing Boston skyline
