Monday Dec 27 - I decided to take a drive up to the Grand Canyon from my home in Phoenix to do a day hike down the Hermit Trail. I didn't finally start until 1pm so I went 4 miles into the Canyon to Lookout Point and then back before dark. There were snow flurries at the top and it was very cold. It turned out to be great trip though.
