Who said adults can't play in the snow? Spend a day snowshoeing and igloo-building near Tronsen Meadow, a pristine winter playground. To Trailhead: Take I-90 E to Exit 85 just past Cle Elum. Follow WA-970 N towards Wenatchee. WA-970 becomes US 97 to the summit of Blewett Pass, about 100 mi. from Seattle. Park at lot on E side of road at summit. Sno-Park Permit Required. Bring a shovel in case of getting plowed in.
