Crave singletrack mixed with exposed rocks and roots? Ride one, two, or more laps on this zippy 2.4-mile loop located 45 minutes from downtown St. Louis.
This fast and fun 2.4-mile loop runs the rolling ridges of Matson Hill. The ride is mostly singletrack but occasional roots and rocks add some X-factor on the 1,000 feet of elevation gain and loss. This trail is well-suited for novice to intermediate riders, or experts looking for a place to do circuit training. You won’t find scenic vistas here, but the shady hardwoods are a nice reprieve on humid days. There is no designated direction of travel here, so mix it up and ride both ways.Directions to trailhead from I-64/US 40 and MO 94
