Quiet rules on this mostly off-trail, 5.1-mile scramble up a boulder strewn canyon to a gnarly rocky crown with panoramic mountain views in Pike National Forest TO TRAILHEAD: I-25 N to exit 163. Go 2 miles W to Palmer Lake, then W onto S Valley Rd., then S onto Old Carriage Rd. to trailhead.
