On a tight travel schedule? Sample Denali on a rugged 4-mile loop to a rocky playground of Dall sheep and panoramas of North America?s tallest peak. TO TRAILHEAD: From Fairbanks, AK 3 S 124.6 mi. to park entrance on R. Follow signs to Savage River. Pass visitor center, stay R @ roundabout and go 14.7 mi. to lot on R. (Permit required.)
