The Mississippi River Trail (MRT) serves as the backbone of a network of on and off road trails in St. Louis, Missouri and the surrounding areas. It is the intent of the St. Louis Bicycle Network (stlBikeNet) Project to map each of these trails. As the project progresses, the layering of each trail in the series will reveal an extensive network that cyclists can utilize for commuting and recreation.
