TO TRAILHEAD: From Buena Vista, take US 285 S for 8.5 mi. Turn R onto CR 162, heading W.  In 12.5 mi., park at the bottom of Baldwin Gulch Rd. (4WD vehicles can follow Baldwin Gulch Rd. for 3 mi. to WPT 2 and park at Y jct.).
