This is a group route plan for a difficult descent down North Canyon, up stream along the Colorado River, and back up Rider Canyon to close the loop. Total mileage will be around 16 miles. North Canyon requires a technical descent with one 75' rappel. We plan to Camp at North Canyon rapid on night one and at House Rock rapid on night two. Trout fishing is excellent if the river is running green. We will exit up Rider Canyon on day 3. I been in the lower parts of North Canyon and down Rider Canyon a number of times. A few old photos of the area are posted for the rest of the group to get psyched up for the route. It should be great fun.
