TO TRAILHEAD: From Poteau, take US 59 S to US 259 S to OK 63 E. In 5 mi., turn S onto Pigeon Creek Rd., following signs to Beech Creek National Scenic & Botanical Area. In 4.5 mi., R onto FR 6025. Park 1.8 mi. later at trailhead on L.

Start off with a 340 ft. descent down rocky bluff of Jackfork Sandstone

Turn R to start loop on Blue Bouncer Trail (white blazes). You'll contour the mountainside for the next mile, cutting across small drainages under mostly hardwoods
