TO TRAILHEAD: Start: From Blue Grass Trail/VA 42 and Old Newport Rd. in Newport, VA, head northeast on VA 42 for .6 mile. Turn left onto Clover Hollow Rd. In .9 mile, turn left to stay on Clover Hollow Rd. (becomes VA 601). Go 5.9 miles to trail crossing.
End: From Blue Grass Trail/VA 42 and Old Newport Rd. in Newport, VA, head northeast on VA 42 for 7.3 miles to trail crossing.
