TO TRAILHEAD: Start: From Buchanan, VA, head NE on US 11 for 1.6 miles and continue straight on Frontage Rd. In .9 miles, turn right on Arcadia Rd. In 2.9 miles turn right on Jennings Creek Rd. Go 1.8 miles to trail crossing.
End: From Big Island VA, head NW on US 501 for 1.4 miles and turn left on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Go 12.3 miles to trail crossing (mp. 76.3).
