TO TRAILHEAD: Start: From Dahlonega, GA, take US 19 S to GA 52 W. In 8.7 miles, turn right on Nimblewill Church Rd. In 2.3 miles, turn right on NF 28-1. In 2.2 miles, continue straight on Winding Stair Gap Rd. In 5.0 miles, turn left on NF-42. Go 2.4 miles and park.
End: From Suches, GA, head south on GA 60 for 1.9 miles to trail.
