Old Rag is the most famous mountain in Shenandoah National Park, Va., and this 9.3-mile loop takes you along its rocky spine to the 3,268-foot summit.

This 9.3-mile loop includes a more-than-a-mile-long scramble over granite boulders to the 3,268-foot summit, where you receive an around-the-world look at the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Virginia piedmont.
